The highly anticipated Tisbury Angling Club Annual 2-Day Festival officially kicked off this weekend, starting strong at the picturesque Dinton Lake and concluding at the ever-challenging Wardour. With rods ready and spirits high, anglers battled it out in what proved to be an exciting and unpredictable festival!
Day 1 Highlights β Dinton Lake
An impressive opening day saw Rob Trimm take the early lead, closely followed by Andy Allen. The day was packed with action and suspense, as everyone knew that Day 2 could change everything. Al Bonner made waves early with a stunning 12lb 1oz carp, setting a high barβalthough his subsequent battle with the lilies became an unexpected subplot of the day. Rich Charmers was seen smiling as he led the wayβuntil Will called him back for the scales!
A special shoutout goes to Al Clarke, who braved Wardour for the first time and likely went home with a few new tricks up his sleeve.
Day 2 β Wardour
As always, Wardour kept everyone on their toes. With the draw playing a crucial role, it truly was βall to fish forβ going into the final day. The tension, excitement, and camaraderie made for a memorable conclusion.
