River Nadder

Brief description of fishery:

For many anglers, the River Nadder holds a place in their heart as one of the finest rivers to fish in the UK. There are many types of fishing available on the River Nadder from fly fishing for trout to lure fishing for some hard fighting pike and everything in between.

The River Nadder offers 35 pegs over a 1.5 km stretch that runs through the centre of Tisbury with depths varying between 3 – 12ft. The stunning chub, barbel, roach, tench, bream or rudd that calls this river home, will ensure that you have an amazing days fishing

All methods will produce good weights of fish with maggot, corn fished over ground bait, or open/maggot feeder rigs accounting for many of the specimen chub and bream. The feeder, stick float, and pole are all winning match tactics with good bags of mixed fish being caught.

The river is open from June to March from dawn to dusk, night fishing allowed.
