Dinton Lake

Brief description of fishery:

Dinton Lake is adjacent to Dinton Park an ideal place to have a quiet few moments, the peace and tranquillity of this place is one of its most appealing features allowing members to get away from all the hustle of life and to rejuvenate and connect with nature.

Dinton Lake is 2.5 acres and has 19 purpose-built platforms all a very large size some being double family swims. The lake depths vary between 3 – 6ft with large stocks of carp both Mirrors and Commons up to 15 plus lb, Pike up to 22lb with, an excellent head of bream, tench, crucians, roach, rudd all regularly caught.

All methods will produce good weights of fish with maggot, corn fished over ground bait, or open/maggot feeder rigs accounting for many of the specimen bream and tench. The feeder, waggler, and pole are all winning match tactics with good bags of mixed fish being caught.

The lake is open all year from dawn to dusk, night fishing allowed.
